          Frequently Asked Questions

          When is the right time to book a podcast management package?

          When you first start your show, you can usually handle the demands by yourself – maybe with the support of an editor, so that you can just do the stuff that you need to do.

          But eventually, as things grow you may find that you end up having one of your regular team members handle the coordination and uploads of episodes as well as adding the episode to the website, and you have an editor that handles the episodes, and you get by like that for a while.

          And then download numbers tend to stagnate because most people that were already in your audience, and that actually like podcasts, are already listening to your show and you don’t really have the capacity to grow anything.

          So you find yourself on the hamster wheel of content trying to put out new episodes because that’s what you said you’d do.

          Your team are chasing your guests and trying to get all of the pieces they need to publish an episode, and then there are cancellations and no shows for interviews meaning that you need to go and create an emergency episode, which then needs to be sent to your editor. And then they are fully loaded with work, so there is a delay that now needs to be handled etc. and it just turns into this time suck and burden but doesn’t actually bring you any results any more.

          And that’s where we come in.

          We start with planning out a 12-week block of content that helps you actually achieve your sales goals, then we set you up with a project management system that we’ve been successfully using to get our client’s episodes out for 2 years.

          Then we go and get our team to work. We will reach out for any guests that you need on your show, we will reach out to podcasts for you to be a guest on, so that you can expand your reach. And we will make sure each and every single episode gets published on time, every time and distributed to your host and your website.

          So the only thing you have to do is to create good content.

          How much lead time do you need?

          We ask all of our clients for a minimum of 14 days lead time and we would encourage you to batch record some content at the start, so that you can get yourself ahead in case you get sick or have something else that needs your attention.

          We used to have extra charges for rush production, but we have found that the stress isn’t worth it for our team, so we ask that you stay within the lead times.

          What if the podcast has 4 or more panelists on every episode?

          We have a fixed rate that we charge extra for shows with more panelists, because it takes longer to clean up the additional audio tracks. We will share these with you once you’re onboarded.

          What if the podcast regularly runs for more than 1 hour?

          We have a small charge that we add for podcasts that run over time regularly, and we will share it with you once you’re onboarded. If you find that you regularly go off track during recording we can also help you to refine the structure of your episode so you can say more, in less time.

          What if I have an extra episode to edit now and again?

          We have separate rates if you need to book extra edits, and we will share them with you once you’re on board.

          How do you communicate?

          We use Slack for all of our client communications. If you already use slack, then you can just invite us into your team. If you don’t we can show you how to set up a workspace and add us into it. We do not use other communication platforms or rely on email.

          Where will the podcast dashboard be?

          Our team operates in asana and that’s where all of our client boards are located. We will set you up with your dashboard and show you how it all works, so you can log in at any time and get a birds eye view of whats happening.
